Dr. James Zhang is a Partner and Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) at GRC. He is primarily responsible for identifying investment opportunities, deal sourcing, and business negotiations. His role includes leading investments, executing transactions, designing investment structures and strategies, and overseeing post-investment management of portfolio companies. With 30 years of experience in scientific research, entrepreneurship, and venture capital in both the United States and China, Dr. Zhang also serves as the Chief Strategy Officer of portfolio company Centrillion Technologies. Dr. Zhang received his Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of California, USA.
