Katherine Cheng serves as Investment Director at GRC SinoGreen Fund, focusing on investments across the new energy vehicle (NEV) supply chain, semiconductors and semiconductor equipment. She has over ten years of experience in Venture Capital investment. Previously, Ms. Cheng worked at Kunpeng Transportation Fund, where she led early-to-mid-stage investments. Representative investments include OY Semiconductor (China's first system-level SoC supplier focused on the third-generation E/E architecture for smart vehicles), ZEPTOOLS Technology (scientific instruments including electron microscopes, in-situ systems, step profilers and e-beam lithography machines) and Yiweili Technology (magnetic components for NEVs, wind/solar power and energy storage), among others. Earlier, Ms. Cheng served as Senior Investment Manager at Kunpeng Capital. She also worked as an Investment Manager at Nanqiao Capital, and as a Risk Analyst at China Investment Securities (now CICC Wealth Management). Ms. Cheng received Bachelor's degree in Microelectronics from Sun Yat-sen University and Master's degree in Financial Engineering from New York University.
